OUR STORY
Locally owned & operated by the mother-daughter duo, Heidi and Cammie. Heidi started O-Babie Bakery in 2007, selling her sweets at the Salem Saturday Market, working her way up to the Oregon State Fair. Over the years, Heidi dreamed of having a place to call her own, so in 2018 when she ran across the idea of a food cart, she thought “why not a dessert cart?” Taking on a new business while working a full-time job was a huge undertaking, so she asked her daughter, Cammie, to help manage. Her response was "No, I want to be your partner." and the mother-daughter duo was formed.
Since 2018, our business and the world around us has changed tremendously. In 2020 we bought Bountiful Pies, a native West Salem Pie Bakery and moved it to NE Salem. We are so happy to finally be bringing Bountiful Pies back home to West Salem in the form of hand pies and special-order whole pies out of our food cart. Between our 2 food carts and bakery, we now serve an extensive menu, including pastries, milkshakes, pasta, burgers, sandwiches, salads and so much more.
